American Spirit 5K Course
NEW COURSE FOR 2013! The American Spirit 5K Course at Red, White and Blue Shoes consists of a big loop around the central part of the Furman campus. There are just a few hills - the rest of the course is relatively flat. The race starts in front of the Physical Activity Center (PAC). The first mile of the course circles around the Mall. The second mile takes you around the lake. The third mile consists of a short uphill, then it’s back down the mall and around the Duke Library to a blazing finish in front of the soccer stadium. From the finish, runners will be guided into the soccer stadium for the post-race celebration. Flat and fast is the way we like it at RWBS!
